Dino Melaye is a member, has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), the US Embassy, British High Commission, and Transparency International against the governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello.
Dino Melaye is the former senator representing Kogi West constituency of Kogi state and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to the petition, dated 1 March, the organization said it conducted an investigation which reveals that Gov. “We have meticulously investigated and uncovered huge financial fraud carried out by Kogi State Government, the Governor of Kogi State and his cohorts from 2016 – 2019,” the letter reads.
While speaking with the media on Monday, Melaye threatened that the Anti-Corruption Network will stage a protest at the EFCC headquarters, if the commission fails to act.
