Oshiomhole Wanted Me To Help Him Unseat Obaseki – Edo Deputy Governor
The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu, has made a revelation that the former National chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Adams Oshiomole has beckoned him to help Unseat the current Governor of Edo state Governor Godwin Obaseki.
The Deputy Governor revealed this in a chat with newsmen on Thursday, stating how former APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, wanted him to join in the move to unseat Obaseki.
According to Shaibu, he has pleaded that Oshiomhole should let go of all grievance he has against Gov. Obaseki since he was doing well for the Edo People.
The Edo deputy governor who noted that his pleas fell on deaf ears said that when he also realized that Oshiomhole had declared war against the governor, he vehemently stood his ground telling the former governor that he will stand with Obaseki any day any time.
The Deputy governor also noted that Obaseki has from onset planned to replace Obaseki with him, but he refused, stating that it was not his nature to betray.
Mr. Shaibu maintained that he will always stand against oppression and will make sure that Gov. Obaseki mandate is defended.
